Ocean Sol Jazz is a vivacious 4 piece ensemble that plays a wide array of music, standards, bebop, straight ahead swing, R+B and other grooves to keep everyone feelin' nice. We are available for weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions, as well as our usual appearances at Clubs in Portland such as, Pearl and Blue. Jeff Smith teaches private guitar lessons to all ages and levels. Deamien Allen is on sax and vocals and has been a very busy player his whole life. Francesco Sanfilippo plays percussion in various genres and thanks his teachers for the gifts of endless rhythms. Jamie Lebish teaches bass and guitar, and has three wonderful children and is the son of a jazz pianist.
